In the first two months of 2020, the world felt the loss of three towering figures of our lifetime. They embodied the humanity, courage and love for fellow human beings.
Li Wenliang was a heroic Chinese doctor from Wuhan, who had the courage to report a looming health crisis which led to in excess of eight hundred deaths in China within weeks of the outbreak.
In return, he was reprimanded by the local police, without an apology. The Coronavirus epidemic soon spread, and Li who contracted the deadly virus, was hospitalized. He passed away in hospital on February 7th.
His courage and care for fellow human beings, not just in Wuhan and China, but globally, will be remembered and should be exemplified of the goodness of the human heart.
